Your skin reflects your overall health and wellbeing, which is why my approach is never about quick fixes or harsh interventions. I focus on building skin strength from within, using treatments, routines and lifestyle guidance that support its natural intelligence.

From consistent skincare to gentle daily massage, hydration, sun protection, restorative sleep and stress management, my aim is to help your skin perform beautifully every day.

SPF and a regular consistent skincare routine is crucial to long term skin health
  • For advice on how sleeping can affect your skin, and for luxury facials in the heart of Hampshire, contact Skin by Thea

    Sleep

When we sleep, blood flow to the skin increases, delivering nutrients and oxygen that support cell turnover and collagen production. Sleep also lowers cortisol levels, reducing inflammation that can contribute to acne, redness, and other skin issues. It also balances moisture levels, helping the skin stay hydrated.

  • Wearing a high factor Sun Cream and getting regular luxury facials in Hampshire will ensure your skin stays fresh and radiant, year round

    SPF

Yes, even when the blustery, grey winters of the UK lull you into a false sense of cloud covered security! So unless you actually live in a cave I strongly recommend you use SPF every single day. I recommend using factor 50 in the summer months, and 25-30 during the winter.

  • A monthly facial at an expert facialist alongside consistent use of medical grade skincare can ensure your skin is the best it can be.

    Massage

In terms of contouring your face and increasing the blood flow to your skin there is nothing better than facial massage. I’ll be able to give you a proper sculpting massage during your treatment, but I do recommend trying to bring it into your daily routine, and I’ll show you how. You don’t have to complicate things with gua sha, mushrooms or facial cups if you don’t want to. Just your hands, consistency and the right routine can make a huge difference.

  • Relax for an hour long bespoke facial in Hook, Hampshire, and emerge a calmer more balanced woman,

    Routine

There is so much conflicting advice out there, and there are so many different products and treatments you can have. Please don’t jump on the latest skin care trend, often less is more, listen to your skin and what it wants and keep a consistent routine at home.

  • Facials during periods of high stress such as the menopause can give you a moment of rest and relaxation

    Water

Water is basically free skincare! It is essential for healthy skin, hydrating skin cells from within to improve elasticity and radiance. It flushes out toxins and supports a clearer complexion. Staying hydrated also maintains your skin barrier, protecting against pollutants and dryness. Over time, good hydration gives skin a natural glow, helping it to look balanced, smooth, and at its best every day. It should be an important part of your skin care routine.
